Well, I survived my trip and even made it back in time to pick up my government ride from the shop . . . looks pretty good too.
As soon as I got home though I had to turn around and head back into the city for a FLEOA meeting that I had forgotten about. FLEOA is the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association and we have about four chapter meetings a year which I try my best to attend.
So I took a quick shower, drove back the way I came to make the meeting, and then doubled back home once again.
But now I am home with my loving family and that is a good thing . . .
